LeMay recognizes 67 years of F-Series history

The slogan “Built Ford Tough” was developed for Ford’s truck line. And with more than 67 years of history behind the F-Series, you could say the slogan stands true. The LeMay Museum has decided to dedicate an exhibit to the line called “F-Series: The Truck that Grew Up with America.”

The exhibit features 20 vehicles and takes you through each era. It starts in 1948 and takes you through F-Series history from the 1950s to today. The oldest truck featured is a 1948 F-1 while the newest truck is the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150, one of the first to use the lightweight metal instead of steel.
