This 1962 Galaxie is a perfect example. I am a complete sucker for any car that is white and rolling on white steel wheels. I am a total sucker for any car with a big block that has multiple carbs. I am a total sucker for any old brawler that has a bench seat and a four speed jutting up through the floor. This car has all of those things and it is a very high quality build. The engine is a hotted up 390 with tri-power and the transmission is a virtually un-killable Ford Top Loader four speed. The rear end is a venerable Ford 9-inch with a gear that the owner says is around the 3.80 ratio and there are some neat period speed parts on it like the distributor. I dig the look of these Galaxies with their more formal squared off roofline and slightly concave nose. Neat cars in virtually any form but perfection here.
